Get the right mortgage for you
Estimate your monthly payment and the upfront costs of buying in Dubai, for UAE nationals, residents and non-residents.
Buying with a mortgage in the UAE
How much down payment do I need?
For a first property, UAE nationals typically need 15% (up to AED 5M), UAE residents 20% (up to AED 5M) and non-residents around 50%. Above AED 5M the minimums are higher. Final requirements depend on your lender.
What upfront costs should I plan for?
Beyond the down payment, expect the 4% Dubai Land Department transfer fee, agency commission, trustee and registration fees, a mortgage registration fee, a bank arrangement fee and a valuation fee. Use “View upfront costs” in the calculator for an estimate.
Can you arrange the mortgage for me?
Yes. We introduce clients to leading UAE banks and mortgage advisers, and we support the process from pre-approval to transfer. Select “Get a mortgage quote” and an advisor will contact you.
