About 25 km from Abu Dhabi, Khalifa City A is near Abu Dhabi Airport & on the major route to Dubai. Khalifa City is home to Etihad Airways' headquarters. Khalifa City A, currently containing roughly 600-700 homes, will be next to the famed Al Raha Beach project. In addition to several international hotels, this project will provide residential & commercial space. Aldar Properties is building the project. This is the headquarters for Emirates ID.

Khalifa City Dubai Community has seen a steady growth in shopping alternatives over the last 2 years. Spar is a big grocery store with a florist, phone shop, and pizza delivery service in the lobby. Next door is the Emirates Post Office. There are several eateries in Etihad Plaza, which is close to the airport. There are also dry cleaners, currency exchanges, a small grocery, & an Etisalat office.

Accessibility to Khalifa City has significantly improved recently, and even during rush hours, traffic moves effortlessly. Road numbers & sectors are still used for navigation, along with landmarks. Many of the structures have been numbered by Onani. Regular bus services are available to Yas Mall and the city center. Al Forsan has installed green bike lanes along the section of the road. A broad route that runs parallel to Al Raha Gardens is also available for bicyclists, runners, and walkers.
